How a club gets called active
Every verdict below shows the dated thing it rests on. If
you know better, the buttons on each card are there, and two people have to
agree before anything moves.
Every student organization on campus is listed, not only the ones that
recruit for careers.
Active
Something dated happened recently: an event, a post, an update to
their own site. The date and the source are printed on the card.
Dormant
There was a pulse once and there has not been one lately. Not the same
as folded, and worth a message before you write it off.
Unverified (the tile)
Every club that is not Active, which is Dormant and the one below it
together. Which of the two a club is says whether this board has ever
seen it do something, and that turns out not to sort by how long ago:
155 dormant clubs last ran an event over two years ago, and 197 clubs
with nothing but paperwork were touched inside the last year. The date
on the card is the thing worth reading.
Nothing found
No dated evidence either way. Usually a club that recruits entirely
through Instagram and a GroupMe, which is most of the good ones. Where a
card says nothing could be found, the search has already been done: no
site, no Instagram, no directory event. Those are the ones only a member
can answer, and the button is why they are still listed.
Folded
The directory dropped it, or people said it folded and said how they
knew.
