The Sudanese and South Sudanese Student Association (SASSSA) at UNC-Chapel Hill is dedicated to celebrating and sharing the rich cultures, histories, and traditions of Sudan and South Sudan. We aim to create a welcoming space for students of Sudanese and South Sudanese heritage and their allies to connect, learn, and engage in meaningful dialogue. Through cultural showcases, educational programs, and community service, SASSSA strives to strengthen cultural pride, promote diversity, and foster understanding across the Carolina community.
