The objectives of StOMP Task Force are:
To lead the implementation of strategies that enhance awareness, education, and training to reduce substance misuse, abuse, and deaths
To educate the public, not limited to pharmacy students, on the role of a pharmacist in substance misuse and abuse management
To collaborate with local, regional, and state programs that focus on addressing substance misuse and abuse to prevent deaths
To facilitate interdisciplinary approaches to encourage broad and diverse participation in efforts to prevent substance misuse, abuse, and deaths
To incorporate substance abuse/misuse resources into pharmacy school extracurricular organizations
