Student National Pharmaceutical Association

SNPhA is an educational service association of student pharmacists dedicated to addressing issues affecting the pharmacy profession and healthcare, particularly the underrepresentation of minority groups within pharmacy and other health professions. Its mission is to plan, organize, coordinate, and execute programs that improve the health, education, and social well-being of underserved and minority communities.

SNPhA advances its mission through the following objectives:

Provide members with opportunities to develop their leadership and professional skills.

Educate students about national healthcare issues and encourage active participation in addressing them.

Strengthen the role of minority health professionals as vital members of the healthcare team.

Promote a positive image of minority health professionals within the community.

Educate communities about healthy practices while increasing awareness and understanding of diseases and their prevention.

At the national level, SNPhA currently supports nine initiatives:
