The Student Free Speech Alliance at UNC Chapel Hill is a non-partisan undergraduate student organization dedicated to promoting free speech, viewpoint diversity, and academic freedom at UNC Chapel Hill. We believe that an environment of free expression, civility, and open inquiry is essential to the pursuit of truth, meaningful student engagement, and academic flourishing.
By educating students on the value of free speech, engaging members in critical thought about First Amendment issues, advocating for institutional policy reforms, and creating content aimed at improving the culture of free expression on campus, the UNC Student Free Speech Alliance intends to promote, inspire, and protect Lux Libertas.
