STEM Sisters seeks to bridge the gendered divide and “confidence gap” in STEM by motivating and empowering female identifying youth to pursue their interest in STEM fields. Through the cultivation of an inclusive community of female-identifying individuals, outreach to Chapel Hill elementary and high schools, and a speaker series featuring accomplished women in STEM, the organization is contributing to building the upcoming generation of female leaders in Chapel Hill in striving towards their STEM interests.
