The South Asian Medical Student Association (SAMoSA) is dedicated to advancing the representation, support, and advocacy for South Asian medical students and physicians at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Our mission is to promote the dissemination of information, address unique challenges, and foster a sense of community among South Asian individuals pursuing careers in healthcare. Through collaboration, service, and dialogue, SAMoSA strives to empower its members to make meaningful contributions to their communities while facilitating connections between students, faculty, and premeds of South Asian background.
