The Backpacking Club at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is a group of students who explore trails across North Carolina and the Southeast through weekend and multi-day trips. We focus on accessibility, skill-building, and community, providing gear and guidance for all experience levels. In between trips, we host socials, outdoor workshops, and community events on campus to bring together people who love nature, adventure, and connecting with others. You DO NOT need prior experience, just a sense of curiosity and willingness to explore.
