Sis2sis

Sis2Sis is a vibrant and rich organization at the University of North Carolina (UNC) devoted to assisting Black women in achieving personal and academic success. We cultivate a sisterhood that is profoundly anchored in community, service, and scholarship, with a focus on building a strong feeling of belonging and identity. We recognize the particular issues and experiences that Black women endure, and we seek to create a secure and caring environment for members to connect, discuss, and inspire one another. We hope to establish a supportive network that recognizes the accomplishments and goals of each individual member via our love for one another. Moreover, we are all about community. We work hard to promote diversity, social justice, and equity within the UNC community. We hope to promote awareness, address concerns, and effect good change via a variety of events, workshops, and activities. We hope to make a significant effect on campus and beyond by cooperating with other groups and participating in community service projects. One of our main values is service.
