Sigma Rho Lambda

Sigma Rho Lambda Sorority Inc. is UNC-Chapel Hill's only Jewish-interest sorority, founded in 2003. We are a Registered Student Organization (RSO) and not part of UNC's Greek Life system. We are a sorority created for Jewish women and any woman interested in Judaism. We provide a sisterhood for Jewish women on UNC's campus and strive to uphold our values of wisdom, compassion, endurance, and faith. We foster meaningful Jewish experiences for sisters through Philanthropy, Judaism, Sisterhood, and Social events. We have many social and community events throughout the year, but some of our favorites are a retreat each fall and a formal every spring.

Our founders say, "We formed this local sorority for Jewish women and any women who are interested in Judaism and/or Jewish culture and values. Our purpose is to provide a sisterhood for Jewish women on this campus, and a safe place for social interaction with one another."
