There are four main facets of our service: Tutoring Our organization has a partnership with the congregation of Fiesta Cristiana , a church based in Apex, NC. Fiesta Cristiana and the Apex United Methodist community of faith churches founded Semillas de Unidad in 2016 to provide tutoring resources for the children in the congregation. UNC students formed an official partnership with the leaders of Semillas de Unidad in December 2020, and since then, many UNC Semillas members have volunteered as tutors. We hope to continue this partnership for years to come and build a long-lasting connection between UNC-Chapel Hill and the congregation of Fiesta Cristiana. Anyone can sign up to volunteer as a tutor regardless of Spanish language skills!
