School of Nursing Interprofessional Education and Practice Committee

UNC School of Nursing IPEP supports nursing students in their goals of participating in interprofessional activities and enhancing their ability to improve healthcare outcomes. Students within SON IPEP have the opportunity to become an IPEP Distinguished Scholar (DS) , which will earn them a notation on their official UNC–Chapel Hill transcript recognizing their achievement, an IPEP graduation cord, and a portfolio highlighting key competencies: ethics, communication, teamwork, and roles and responsibilities.

This organization is a sub-committee of the greater IPEP organization, which is a partnership between the schools of Business, Dentistry, Education, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health, and Social Work, the department of Allied Health, and the Health Sciences Library.

This organization is only open to current and active students enrolled in the UNC School of Nursing undergraduate or graduate programs. Pre-nursing students are not yet eligible to participate.
