The Russian Studies Forum at UNC is dedicated to enhancing the academic experience of its members by offering a comprehensive platform for cultural engagement, professional networking, and international opportunities in a Russian-language context.
Through a variety of events, workshops, and guest speaker sessions, Forum members gain a nuanced understanding of Russian, Baltic, Caucasian, and Central Asian cultures, and a deeper appreciation for these regions. We serve as a networking hub, connecting students with professionals in various fields related to Russian studies, facilitating the development of meaningful relationships that can advance their future careers. Additionally, we provide essential resources for students planning to study abroad, including information on scholarships, grants, and other opportunities that enable students to maximize access to international experiences and language immersion.
