UNC Rocketry Club builds high-power rockets from the ground up, this year we're competing NASA's Student Launch (USLI). That means designing the airframe, picking motors, working out recovery systems, building a payload, and writing up the technical proposals NASA actually reviews!
You don't need any rocketry background to join. We've got members working toward their L1 and L2 high-power certifications and if you're new we'll get you up to speed at build nights. We meet regularly to work on the rocket, plus we go out to launches so you can see what you built actually fly
If you're into engineering, physics, electronics, or just want to build something that leaves the ground, come find us. New members always welcome!!! We're entirely interest based :)
