This goal is achieved through its three core initiatives: Symposia (Think), which involves simulation-based learning to provide insight into the complexities of the healthcare ecosystem; Odysseia (Explore), which offers international exploration through medical and business brigades; and Agora (Serve), which focuses on community engagement and service. The overall structure of ATHENA cultivates systems thinking and aims to develop interdisciplinary leaders who think critically, act globally, and serve with purpose.
