Academy Health UNC-CH Student Chapter

AcademyHealth is a leading non-profit, non-partisan health policy research organization and focuses on the creation, dissemination, and implementation of high-quality health services research. The UNC Chapel Hill Student Chapter of AcademyHealth is a graduate student organization associated with the Academy that aims to promote and facilitate the professional development of students interested in all aspects of health services research and health policy. Members may have the opportunity to travel to the National Health Policy Conference in Washington DC in February, attend professional development events, and be involved in social activities. The primary club activities are Policy Day , a spring semester event at which speakers and panelists discuss a topic related to healthcare policy, and a journal club held several times per semester to discuss academic and/or journalistic articles on health policy.
