Sports are an important social institution and are vehicles for joy. This social institution can be used to create an impact in all spheres of life, specifically surrounding well-being and the social determinants of health, which are important prerequisites to opportunities for joy. However, there are inequities in the availability of this social institution and Play 4 Purpose (P4P) will help combat this problem.
Mission Statement: Play 4 Purpose aims to increase the equity in opportunities of joy through sports. We will promote well-being and positively make changes in the social determinants of health through sports-related competitions and activities.
