Phi Epsilon Kappa - Iota Beta

Phi Epsilon Kappa serves as a community of highly motivated students within the Exercise and Sports Science major to network, engage in community service, and pursue academic success. We serve as a community to immerse successful students in different events to help students find their passion within the field.

Networking within EXSS Major

Host Events with Speakers (professors from not only UNC but other colleges, professionals from many fields, admissions boards, etc.)

Host Programs to help people succeed within the major

Host Events that immerse students within a variety of fields to help students find their passion

To help students expand on their leadership and contribution to the major by creating a Mentor Program for older members to help younger members be successful, creating a tutoring program where members of the organization can earn volunteer hours by tutoring students in EXSS courses

Host programs that discuss the resources and opportunities that UNC and the EXSS department have (research, volunteering, shadowing, internships, etc.)

To create an inclusive and welcoming community that foster building friendships and building a strong support system for students
