Founded in 1914, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated abides by the motto, "Culture for service and service for humanity," while building members on the principles of Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service. The Xi Gamma Chapter here at UNC (chartered April 23, 1982) continues to strive for academic, social, and cultural excellence in every human endeavor.
