Paws for a Cause at Carolina is a group of undergraduate college students who are dedicated to improving the lives of and extending social justice to all animals in Orange County, North Carolina and beyond through volunteer efforts with local animal shelters and organizations. We also aim to raise awareness about current pressing animal welfare issues such as pet overpopulation and wildlife preservation. A third goal is to help improve the mental health of students on campus through the use of animal therapy.
