Active Event 14 Sep 2026: Pit Sitting w/ NMDP
Last seen 14 Sep 2026
NMDP on Campus is a student-run organization dedicated to supporting the mission of the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) by increasing the number of college students on the bone marrow registry. This work is especially important because young, ethnically diverse donors play a crucial role in saving the lives of patients in need of marrow or stem cell transplants.
Our chapter organizes donor drives, fundraisers, and awareness campaigns throughout the year to educate students about the impact of becoming a potential donor. Beyond our service initiatives, NMDP on Campus also fosters a vibrant community through social events, collaborative projects, and volunteer opportunities that connect students who are passionate about healthcare, service, and advocacy.
Members have the chance to develop valuable leadership and networking skills by working closely with NMDP staff, medical professionals, and student organizations across campus. Whether you’re interested in public health, medicine, or community outreach, NMDP on Campus offers an engaging way to make a difference, while meeting like-minded peers and building connections that extend far beyond the university.
