Welcome to the Newman Catholic Community at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill!

We are here to be your home-away-from-home, a place of joy, love and acceptance, where we meet God through sacraments, prayer, and service and encourage each other to grow as followers of Christ.

Whether you are super-social and love hanging with a big group of friends, prefer smaller group settings, or are seeking some quiet personal space for study or prayer – we offer a variety of opportunities to grow in faith and friendship.

Our Activities Center (214 Pittsboro Street), right across from the Carolina Inn, is open 7am to midnight for you to study or meet up with friends.

Student Mass at 4pm on Sundays

Carolina Catholic Night at 6:15pm on Wednesdays: live band, guest speaker, followed by a (free!) delicious meal cooked by our team of student chefs

Small Faith Groups that meet weekly to discuss the upcoming Sunday Gospel

Intramural teams

Daily mass, Wednesday confessions, Friday adoration
