Monsoon

Monsoon is a South Asian-American interest (but not exclusive) magazine and advocacy platform. We aim to hold a space for the South Asian diaspora to explore and express our identities by producing original content (political writing, multimedia art, creative expression, cultural pieces, and more).

Understanding and discussing our identities and histories better equips us to confront racism and other forms of hate in our community. We aim to address these problems through intersectional un/relearning, solidarity-building, and mobilization.

Teams: content creation, advocacy, social media, graphic design + publicity, copy editing, community outreach and event planning, and web development.
