The Mobile Gaming Club at UNC-Chapel Hill is a student-run organization dedicated to building an inclusive, competitive, and community-focused space for mobile gamers. MGC unites students who share an interest in mobile esports, casual gaming, and digital collaboration. Our mission is to create opportunities for students to connect, compete, and grow through teamwork, leadership, and good sportsmanship.
The club supports both competitive and community divisions. Competitive teams represent UNC-Chapel Hill in collegiate tournaments for popular titles such as Clash Royale, Brawl Stars, and other mobile esports. Players train, scrimmage, and compete in officially recognized events across the country. The community division hosts game nights, watch parties, and casual tournaments that welcome players of all skill levels.
MGC emphasizes respect, inclusion, and integrity in all activities. Membership is open to all currently enrolled UNC-CH students, regardless of experience or background. Through collaboration with campus partners, MGC promotes digital literacy, healthy gaming habits, and leadership development.
