The Military Medicine Interest Group (MIG) is designed to support medical students either affiliated with or interested in military medicine. These students generally fall into one of three groups:
Students who are affiliated with the Army, Navy, or Air Force-funded Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP) or the Army National Guard-sponsored AMEDD Student Recruiter program;
Students who are exploring military residency and career opportunities; and
Students who are unaffiliated with the armed forces but are interested in the speakers or events hosted by this group.
