We provide an environment where students, academic faculty members, researchers, healthcare practitioners, and decision makers interested in pharmacoepidemiology can share knowledge. Our organization is responsible for funding and coordinating the Annual Harry Guess Memorial Lecture, which draws over 200 pharmacoepidemiologists and health services researchers from around UNC-Chapel Hill and the Research Triangle. This lecture honors the memory of Dr. Guess, a well-loved educator and mentor in the Department of Epidemiology who founded the Pharmacoepidemiology Program.
