International Justice Mission at UNC-CH

Our organization seeks to educate students about the victims of injustice in our world and how much they can actually do about injustice. We primarily focus on fighting human trafficking worldwide, whether that be sex or labor trafficking. The other focuses of our organization include illegal property seizure, false imprisonment, and corrupt justice systems. Our membership is open to all who are interested in injustice, international affairs, legal advocacy, and more.

Our activities primarily consist of weekly meetings, where we plan events to educate our campus and community about human rights abuses and raise funds to support IJM. Events include, restaurant percentage nights, an annual benefit concert, an awareness week, and visual displays.
