Established in 2017, The Institute of Politics (IOP) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill aims to engage and inspire students, particularly undergraduates, to pursue careers in politics and public service. With nonpartisanship as its cornerstone principle, the Institute strives to promote greater understanding and cooperation between the academic world and the world of politics and public affairs.
