- We support the activities of our affiliated non-profit by recruiting more volunteers, improving members' pedagogical capabilities, educating ourselves and students in service-learning classes about equitable access to education and holistic teaching strategies, and hearing from speakers. We build a community not just among our tutors but with local youth and their families by creating in-person events for our parent non-profit.
Join Grow Your World at Carolina to meet and support like-minded peers who foster inclusive, multigenerational interconnection by tutoring 4th through 12th graders!
Work with us to cultivate reciprocal mentorship relationships that enrich the local community.
Our main focus is the after school program that we run in Carrboro Mondays through Thursdays 4pm-6pm for 6th and 7th graders. Please reach out to us if you are interested in volunteering!
