Bonjour, tout le monde! We are Les Francophiles, a student-led organization at UNC created to help others practice their French language skills through conversation and learn more about Francophone culture. Our objectives are to create a welcoming and fun environment that promotes community and lifelong connections through language! Regardless of where you are in your language journey, we encourage any and all to join us!
Throughout the semester, we host a variety of events, all geared toward expanding our knowledge and love for the French language and the cultures surrounding it. Each week, we will have a special theme that will be based on an aspect of Francophone culture. At weekly Conversation Hours, you’ll have the opportunity to either participate in a structured discussion of the theme or be a part of a more free-form group where discussion flows naturally.
