Finding Refuge at UNC-Chapel Hill

Finding Refuge seeks to meet a deeper need on campus — the desire for authentic connection, thoughtful conversation, and spiritual growth in an often hectic and isolating college environment. We recognize that faith can be deeply personal and sometimes misunderstood, so our goal is to create an atmosphere where students can explore Christianity without pressure or judgment. Each week, we gather to study the Bible, discuss how its teachings relate to modern life, and encourage one another through shared experiences and honest dialogue. Beyond weekly meetings, we plan to host social gatherings, community service projects, and outreach events that invite students from all walks of life to engage meaningfully with both faith and friendship. Whether someone is deeply rooted in their beliefs or simply curious, Finding Refuge offers a place to belong, grow, and find encouragement alongside others seeking purpose and connection.
