Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church Mahibere Kidusan Campus Ministry at UNC-CH

The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church Mahibere Kidusan Campus Ministry at UNC–Chapel Hill is a faith-based, cultural, and educational student organization dedicated to nurturing the spiritual life, moral growth, and leadership development of students. Rooted in the ancient Orthodox Christian tradition of Ethiopia, the ministry fosters fellowship, service, and interfaith understanding through regular worship, theological education, and community engagement. Open to all students, EOTC–UNC seeks to promote inclusivity, preserve Ethiopian Orthodox heritage, and contribute to the University’s mission of Lux et Libertas—light and liberty—by inspiring members to learn deeply, serve humbly, and lead with purpose within the Carolina community.
