A common theme among medical specialty interest groups is uniting those with common interests. Since ENT is a field limited to those pursuing an MD degree, the majority of our members will be full-time UNC medical students. Members will learn about the various aspects of ENT, from how to apply to residencies to what sub-specialties exist within ENT, and what life is like for ENT in its various academic and private practice settings. Importantly, students can also shadow surgeons, learn about research opportunities, and find out about cutting-edge surgical techniques, all specific to ENT. An Interest Group is an efficient tool through which these resources can be brought together.
