Rush interest meetings for Fall 2026 will take place In person on Thursday, August 27th from 5-6pm (location TBD), Sunday, August 30th from 5-6pm (zoom), and In person on Monday, August 31st from 6-7pm (location TBD)! Check our Instagram (@uncalphaphiomega) for updates on locations.
Alpha Phi Omega is founded on principles of friendship, leadership, and service. As UNC's gender-inclusive community service fraternity we work to make a positive difference to our fraternity, campus, community, and nation. In the Fall 2023 semester, our chapter completed 3,942 community service hours and provided four grants of $2,000 each to four community partners.
In the Rho chapter of Alpha Phi Omega, we try to provide a wide variety of service opportunities. We work with many diverse organizations such as Carolina Tiger Rescue, Challah for Hunger, Habitat for Humanity, ReWild Earth, Carolina Community Gardens, and TABLE. Additionally, we manage UNC's main Lost & Found space at the bottom of the union. We love to connect with new service partners every semester and also provide opportunities for fundraising for organizations of our chapter's choice.
