The East African Student Association at UNC is a unique organization that distinguishes itself from other cultural student groups by focusing specifically on the rich and diverse cultures, languages, and histories of East Africa. Acknowledging the vastness and uniqueness of the African continent, we recognize the need for a dedicated space that delves into the distinct cultures and issues prevalent in East Africa. Our mission is to shed light on the various East African societies, fostering an understanding of their unique traditions and challenges.
