Crafting Care

Crafting Care aims to address the needs of youth experiencing transitional housing while allowing UNC students to utilize their resources, knowledge, and creativity to make an impact on future leaders. We aim to bring art therapy to children in transitional housing and consistent mentorship to reduce anxiety and provide a safe space for children to express themselves while adjusting to an overwhelming new environment.

We are aware that it is easy to get lost in organization missions at such a large university, but we want our members to be fully connected to the impact that they are making in Crafting Care. Therefore, every member of Crafting Care will be apart of one of our four committees to cater to their individual leadership potential.
