About the Community:

Located just across from the Pit, Connor Community provides residents with easy access to classes, dining options, and study spaces in the center of campus. The community is composed of the Alexander, Connor, Joyner, and Winston Residence Halls, each with their own unique features and atmosphere that allow students to customize their residential experience. The quad directly in front of Connor Residence Hall provides ample opportunities for social connection, frequently hosting volleyball and spikeball tournaments, cookouts, and students lounging in the sun.

Joyner Residence Hall, located within Connor Community, is home to the Pride Place Residential Learning Program (RLP), which focuses on wellness, empowerment, and academic success for students of all gender identities, gender expressions, and sexual orientations. Through intersectional learning experiences and a unique partnership with the UNC LGBTQ Center, this RLP provides a support system for LGBTQ+ residents
