Climate 2.0 at Carolina has been built to make sustainability economically actionable across all fields of study. We invite anyone, with any amount of experience, to explore how they can make a sustainable impact through their passions.
We bring together students from technology, policy, economics, environmental science, and the humanities to work on applied climate solutions through three leadership tracks:
Cleantech Track โ Researches methods to improve the economic feasibility of businesses and leads the development of strategic agreements to ensure partners adopt sustainable, economically-smart practices.
Policy, Investigation, and Partnership (PIP) Track โ Organizing the development and communication of policy solutions.
Media & Speakership (M&S) Track โ Leads outreach, garners speakership, and facilitates marketing for Climate 2.0.
Who should apply: Any student prepared to build technical and leadership skills, work with faculty and professionals, and be part of an ambitious initiative that shows sustainability is economically pragmatic, politically encompassing, and powered by diverse fields of study .
