Chapel Hill Alt Protein Project

The UNC Alt. Protein Project will have a primary purpose of providing students and researchers with a community in which to explore alternative protein-related applications of their academic expertise, and learn about how their interests intersect with the needs of the alternative protein industry. We’ll be working on advancing research about alt. protein at UNC, increasing curriculum about alt. protein, generating awareness amongst our peers about the opportunities within this field, and connecting members with career opportunities. At its best, an Alt. Protein Project group acts as a miniature think tank for a burgeoning field, catapulting its members to the forefront of the alternative protein movement.
