Chabad Student Group at UNC-CH

The primary purpose of the Chabad Student Group is to provide living Judaism to the students at the University of North Carolina within the framework of traditional Judaism.

We seek to connect Jewish students from all backgrounds to the Jewish community at their own pace & comfort level through innovative educational & social programs, with an emphasis on the students. Our goal is to engage the thousands of Jewish students on UNC’s campus, as well as faculty. Participation in our outreach programs has been strong & enthusiastic, engendering a vibrant sense of Jewish identity among the Jewish student body and faculty. Student Shabbat Dinners, Holiday Services and events, Grad & YJP Jewish Social Programming, Educational Programming, House of Healing, Israel & Poland Trips, and more aim to provide a vital sense of community and belonging for Jewish Students.
