CSCFR is a National Council on Family Relations student affiliate formed to raise awareness about the Human Development & Family Studies major and to promote community engagement, service, and professional development for students across disciplines.
NCFR's mission is to provide an educational forum for family researchers, educators, and practitioners to share in the development and dissemination of knowledge about families and family relationships, establish professional standards, and work to promote family well-being.
The mission of Carolina Student Council on Family relations is to provide opportunities for students interested in doing service, research, or practice in family and human services to share ideas, programs, initiatives that strengthens and empower students and the communities they serve.
As a new chapter, formed in the spring of 2018, we primarily focus on service through partnerships with local family-serving organizations.
