Carolina Science Olympiad

Thousands of students across North Carolina participate in Science Olympiad each year, and there are perhaps hundreds of students on this campus who have a place for Science Olympiad in their hearts. This organization serves as the center of Science Olympiad at UNC. Students at Carolina are able to volunteer at Science Olympiad competitions across North Carolina and can eventually help host an invitational tournament here at UNC. This organization exists as a way of facilitating student involvement in STEM outreach at the regional, state, and national levels through Science Olympiad.

Furthermore, this organization helps to sustain student engagement in a diverse array of STEM fields at UNC. Through this organization, UNC students can explore specific STEM interests and personally commit to building up interest in those disciplines.
