The Carolina Forum for Education and Diplomacy (CFED) connects UNC students with leading voices in global affairs, diplomacy, law, academia, and public service. Through high-profile guest speakers, policy discussions, and student-led programming, students engage directly with ambassadors, diplomats, policymakers, scholars, attorneys, and international leaders .
CFED brings together students from across the University interested in global affairs, foreign policy, leadership, public service, law, history, literature, and the liberal arts . Many CFED events provide Campus Life Experience (CLE) credit , combining CLE opportunities with substantive conversations about international and public-policy issues.
CFED works closely with UNC Global Affairs and the Transatlantic Forum for Education and Diplomacy (TFED) , a nonprofit/NGO connecting UNC students with diplomats, policymakers, scholars, and international experts. Members also benefit from professional development and networking , with exposure to internships, scholarships, graduate study, and careers in diplomacy, law, public service, and international affairs.
