UNC Club Beach Volleyball is a competitive Men's and Women's club that consists of about 30 members. We primarily play doubles beach volleyball, intermittently participating in fours play. Overall, we compete in a series of tournaments through the Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP), as well as the National Collegiate Sand Volleyball Association (NCSVA) which operates in a Club vs. Club fashion.
The club participates in 4-5 tournaments each semester and practices 3 times per week. We maintain a very competitive playing environment, requiring consistent commitment from all players. Therefore, practices and tournaments are mandatory and attendance is tracked. Other than play, we often participate in fundraising events, community service, and outreach to other sports clubs.
Our mission is to foster a fun playing environment and grow the sport of beach volleyball at UNC!
