Established in 2016, Carolina Animators Anonymous (AniAno for short) offers a place for students to learn the art of animation filmmaking. We have made award-winning animated short films for Campus Movie Fest and continue to create animations with the diverse talents of our club members.

I don’t know much about animation/I’m not a very good artist. Can I still join?
Artists and animators of all skill levels are welcome! By collaborating with other artists in the club, you will learn lots of tips on how to improve! You can also contribute without needing to draw, such as through writing or production.
What should I expect when I first join AniAno?
First, introduce yourself and share what you love about animation! Then, decide which roles in animation you want to contribute to. There are various roles such as storyboarding, character design, and animating. If you're not sure which roles suit you best, it's a good idea to try a little bit of everything and see what you enjoy doing most!
