Join us for our bi-weekly meetings. Mondays at 5 p.m., Campus Y Room 207!

The Student Environmental Action Coalition (SEAC) is the Campus Y’s environmental club. We focus on environmental initiatives through a social justice lens. Our mission is to think globally, and act locally.

We believe in building a community, not just attending a club. SEAC is a collaborative, hands-on space where every member contributes ideas, plans events, gets involved in projects, supports fundraising, and more! We aim to be as accessible as possible, we have no member dues.

Founded in 1988, SEAC is onc of Campus Y’s oldest organizations. From being the first to introduce residence hall recycling bins to traveling across the world, the sky is the limit on our initiatives!

Our current projects include:

On-campus community pollinator garden

Seed library

PFAS (Forever Chemical) testing and awareness initiative

Environmental tabling, outreach, and fundraising

Participation in UNC sustainability events

And so much more!
