Promote opportunity through English literacy!
We’re a diverse group of students and community members who are building cross-cultural bridges through casual English conversation classes.
We hold classes virtually twice a week for one hour. We hope to transition to a physical space once COVID-19 restrictions permit us to do so. Our volunteers are UNC-CH undergraduate and graduate students that seek social justice, inclusivity, and learning new things!
Our mission is to:
Promote opportunity: promote educational, career, and social opportunities through English literacy.
Strengthen inclusivity: foster cross-cultural competencies to strengthen inclusivity.
Build lasting relationships: build lasting relationships between UNC students and members of the community.
