Cadence

Cadence is an a cappella group at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. We are a community service-oriented group, and love to perform at events on campus and in neighboring communities.

Cadence was founded by Lachi Music in 2003, then a junior at UNC. The group established its presence on UNC's campus after hard work and commitment to making music. It currently consists of 15-18 young, diverse, femme-presenting people who love to sing.
