About

This organization is founded upon the beliefs that l egal commentary should be accessible to all audiences, state law is underrepresented in undergraduate scholarship, and that, as students in North Carolina, it is our civic responsibility to be active participants in the processes of state government. As such, we seek to increase accessibility to the decisions of the North Carolina appellate court system and to serve as a non-partisan forum for discussion of North Carolina state law.

To this end, we regularly publish an email newsletter, tailored to a general audience, featuring summaries of cases from the North Carolina state appellate courts. We also periodically distribute a print newsletter featuring expanded pieces from our email editions. Finally, we host events with experts, faculty, and professionals to promote discourse of relevant issues of North Carolina state law and its appellate courts.
