Directory profile edited 3 Nov 2026: Directory profile was edited. That usually means the annual registration was renewed, and says nothing about whether the club meets or recruits.
Graduate Women in Computer Science (GWiCS) is a community for women, non-binary, and gender-nonconforming graduate students in UNC Computer Science, and their allies. For about a decade, we’ve brought grad students together across labs and cohorts to build connection, mentorship, and support.
Each month we host Women’s Lunches (sometimes as lunch-and-learns) and informal Tea Times. Faculty and staff from across the department regularly join us. We also partner with other student organizations, and we help out with department outreach!
Membership is rolling, so you can join anytime by filling out our interest form . All are welcome!
